White blooms in spring with bright green foliage turning orange, red, and pink in the fall. Red-orange haws, or berries, persist through the winter. Its shrub habit and thorns make it a great plant for hedges, or it can stand alone. Full sun to part shade, it tolerates a wide range of soil conditions.
